May Chang essential oil (Litsea Cubeba)

10 ml

Product Description

Verbena essential oil, also known as May Chang, or Litsea Cubeba, has been used in ancient Chinese medicine for centuries. It has traditionally been used to treat pain and digestive issues, but it is now widely used in aromatherapy and cosmetics.
May Chang is a small tropical tree with fragrant leaves and flowers that bear small pepper-like fruits (cubeba-pepper). This Asian tree is widely cultivated in China, Taiwan, and Japan. These tree stands are used as a windbreak in greenery in China.
The essential oil of verbena is extracted by steam distillation from the tree’s fruits. It has a strong stimulating effect on the central nervous system, and it refreshes and relieves extreme anxiety after overwork. It also aids in the management of exhaustion, apathy, despair, and negative emotions. Verbena essential oil has antidepressant properties. It normalizes sleep and restores natural psychological rhythms, improves attention and performance, and increases mental and physical activity. It stimulates creativity and information sensitivity – both intellectual and emotional. It also activates creative and logical thinking.
Verbena essential oil is excellent for oily skin, acne and dermatitis-affected skin, rashes, plugged pores, and reducing excessive sweating. It can also be used in anti-insect mixtures.
