Spearmint is a Mediterranean perennial herb that is widely cultivated in Europe, West Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. The United States, Hungary, Spain, Russia, and China are the largest producers of this oil.
Spearmint essential oil is used in aromatherapy to improve memory, promote concentration, and reduce fatigue. It aids in the treatment of mental exhaustion, dizziness, neuralgia, and excessive sweating. Spearmint essential oil has a milder effect than peppermint essential oil, with a less pronounced tonic and refreshing effect.
